HSK (H\u00e0n y\u01d4 Shu\u01d0 p\u00edng K\u01ceo sh\u00ec) is a national standardized exam used to test non-native Chinese speaker\u2019s level of fluency in Chinese. HSK Level 3 is mainly used to check your ability to apply their knowledge of Chinese after a year and a half of study (every week for about four hours); you must learn about 600 common words and basic Chinese grammar prior to taking this exam.<\/p>\n
There are two aspects of the HSK1 and HSK2 to keep in mind: first, there is no pinyin in the sentences, so students need to know the Chinese characters, except the 300 words they learned. We also have to know the following words:<\/p>\n

Every day, go through this list of words at least two times, until you can read all of the words in five minutes.<\/p>\n
There is a written portion of the HSK 3 that you will need to take. For this part of the test, you will have to learn how to write Chinese characters. Focus on learning to write the characters in six strokes, and practice by writing five different characters every day.<\/p>\n
Before the HSK 3 exam, students need to practice their Chinese skills. A good book of exercises will surely help students to prepare for HSK 3.
