Children around the ages of seven to thirteen master new languages the fastest. As a teacher of that age group, I strive hard to give them good memories and a fun experience when learning. I dream that everyone of my students enjoys the process of learning. Today I want to share some of my experience with you. Our subject is teaching foreign languages to outgoing children.
It is important for me to have fun with all my students, and to find out their interests, and also to encourage them to study Chinese more.
As a Native Chinese Teacher, it is essentially my job to run a successful Chinese class that I can share with all my students. I must firstly know how to find out their different interests, and secondly be able to instill important study skills into them.
In modern Chinese, the initials and finals and tones form combinations known as syllables. In Chinese we called “PinYin”. Different with many languages in the world, Chinese syllables with the change of high and low lift, this is the tone. The following is the Chinese syllable system:
